Healing Education and Remedial Training

THE PROGRAM

The purpose of this graduate level program is to assist participants, teachers, therapists, educational specialists, in deepening their understanding and improve their observation skills. We will offer practical ways to work in a healing manner with children challenged by developmental and learning difficulties. The curriculum is based on an anthroposophical understanding of child development and education of the whole child. It is designed to give the participants the tools to assess and effectively address the learning and social needs of their students. Throughout the program personal and professional development will be explored in a variety of settings. We will also familiarize ourselves the current research and methods used in educational settings.

The HEART Program is a three-year part time training that will be held single weekends in the fall, winter and spring and for two consecutive weeks in July. The first year is an introductory year suitable for teachers, as well as therapists. The second and third years are structured to enable the participant to become a remedial teacher/therapist in a school or private practise.

Join the HEART Program and become a more affective teacher to meet the needs of children of today.
